Rose Jewelers is an independently owned family business spanning three generations, thus far. We have two locations, Patchogue and Southampton, New York. In our Patchogue Store, we have a full-time bench jeweler and watchmaker. Having a shop allows us to do many repairs on premises. This saves our customer time and the security of knowing their treasure does not leave our hands.
We are a full service Jeweler. We offer many designer lines, as well as our own selection of fine jewelry. Most items are available in sterling silver, 14kt or 18kt gold (yellow or white), and platinum. We offer custom designs using our clients gems. Our collection of fine Swiss Watches, will meet your needs for graduation, wedding, birthdays and just for fun! Rose Jewelers has an extensive selection of Gifts. We carry many crystal, china, sterling and pewter items as well as clocks. Rose Jewelers' knowledgeable staff is happy to assist with your selection, as well as gift wrap and send your purchase. We offer Corporate Accounts and we are able to customize many items with your business logo.
In 1945, Harry Rose decided he'd had enough of life as a traveling salesman. So he purchased a small jewelry store on East Main street in Patchogue, and put the knowledge and expertise he'd acquired during his years on the road to work. One thing he'd learned - and he made it the mission of his new firm - was the value of giving his customers personal, individual attention, as well as a selection of the finest quality products.
His philosophy continued on through his sons Robert and Murray Rose. The business flourished and went from one store to five stores. Murray has since retired, yet Rose Jewelers still remains in family hands between father and daughter.
Still owned and operated by Robert Rose and his daughter Jan Rose there are two remaining locations on the main streets of Patchogue and Southampton.
After 65 years, the Rose family philosophy continues. Rose Jewelers prides themselves on personalized service, quality workmanship and distinguished products. Rose Jewelers is proud to be a member of the American Gem Society and the Jeweler's Vigilance Association. Bob and Jan are active members in the communities of Patchogue and Southampton and believe strongly in "giving back". They lend their support to both the Southampton Hospital and the Brookhaven Hospital along with many other local charities.
Rose Jewelers' growth over the last 65 years is to a large extent, the result of strong family pride and enthusiastic and loyal employees. But most of all, it's the result of 65 years of satisfied customers!
